Qualified Nursery Assistant | Histon

Immediate Start | 40 hours per week

Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a Qualified Nursery Assistant to work in an Ofsted rated 'Good' setting in North Cambridge.

The role will involve working with children from 1-4 years and supporting them with their day-to-day activities across the 3 classes. 

The Setting:

The nursery intends to instil a lifelong love of learning and to foster in each child the vital social skills needed to achieve positive life-long development.They believe exploration and enquiry in early childhood is the foundation on which children build the rest of their lives. 

They work in partnership with parents; enabling children to reach their full potential and by planning for activities and opportunities that allow the children to progress successfully through the Early Years Foundation Stage. The nursery is proud of their diverse setting and welcome all children recognising that each child’s learning journey is unique and individual.

The successful applicant will:

  • Deal with situations calmly and sensitively
  • Have the ability to effectively support children with differing needs
  • Be level 2 qualified or above
  • Be available for a range of shifts beween 8am and 6pm.
  • Be able to provide personal, social, welfare, emotional and behavioural support
