Role: Mainstream Primary school Learning support Assistant (LSA) 

Location: Lewisham 

Start: Immediate start - Full time (Mon-Fri) 

 

Protocol Education is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our partner school in Lewisham. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work with children who require additional support in their learning.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who have additional needs and a strong understanding of the primary curriculum. You will need to be patient, empathetic and able to build positive relationships with children and their families.

In this role, you will work closely with the class teacher to support children with their learning, including providing one-to-one support, small group work and assisting with classroom management.

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a Learning Support Assistant Previously
  • Experience working with children with special needs
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
  • Ability to work effectively with children who have additional needs
  • Patient and empathetic approach
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
