Protocol Education is working closely with schools across South Bristol to find caring, reliable and flexible Learning Support Staff who genuinely love helping children thrive. This includes Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, SEND support staff and intervention specialists who enjoy making a difference beyond the front of the classroom. At Protocol Education, we pride ourselves on placing support staff into both long- and short-term roles that suit their experience and availability.

You’ll be supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, working one-to-one or in small groups, helping children build confidence, stay engaged and feel supported in their learning. You’ll be joining schools with welcoming, inclusive cultures where teamwork, kindness and staff wellbeing genuinely matter.

A Bit About You:

  •      Comfortable supporting children ages 4-11
  •      Patient, calm and supportive in the classroom
  •      A friendly and approachable presence
  •      Happy to adapt and support where needed
  •      Understanding of the children’s needs (including additional needs)

What Do We Need to Clear You?

  •      Passport
  •      2 proofs of address (e.g. driving licence, utility bill, council tax, P45/60)
  •      CV covering 10 years of all work or education, with gaps accounted for
  •      2 years of references (including childcare - if applicable)
  •      OSPC if you lived overseas for 3 months or more in the last 5 years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
