We’re looking for a passionate Learning Support Assistant to join one of our partner secondary schools in Newcastle. This is your chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people—helping them overcome challenges, stay engaged in lessons, and grow in confidence every day.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing 1:1 or small group support across a range of subjects

  • Helping students access learning and build independence

  • Supporting behaviour and encouraging positive routines

  • Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with young people (in schools or similar settings)

  • A calm, encouraging, and approachable manner

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine commitment to helping pupils succeed in and out of the classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
