Secondary schools across North Tyneside are looking for dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join their teams. This role is all about helping students succeed—whether that’s providing 1:1 academic support, encouraging positive behaviour, or simply being a calm and reliable presence in the classroom.
What you’ll be doing:

Providing 1:1 and small group support across a range of subjects

Helping pupils access the curriculum and stay engaged in lessons

Supporting behaviour and promoting positive routines

Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff

Experience supporting young people (in school or similar settings)

A patient, approachable, and adaptable attitude

Strong communication skills
