Contract: Full-time | Term Time Only
Salary: £83–£95 per day (depending on experience) PAYE

We’re working with a welcoming secondary school looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team. You’ll work closely with students who need extra support whether it’s with learning, confidence, or behaviour helping them stay on track and feel part of school life.
About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll:

Provide 1:1 or small group support for students with additional needs

Help pupils stay focused and access the curriculum in class

Support emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour

Adapt materials and activities to suit different learning styles

Work closely with SENCOs, teachers, and support staff to meet student needs
About You
We’re looking for someone who:

Has experience working with young people, especially in a school or SEND setting
-
Builds strong relationships through patience, empathy, and positivity
-
Can stay calm, organised, and flexible in a busy school environment

Understands the importance of inclusion and individual support
-
Holds a DBS on the Update Service or is willing to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
