We are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants (LSA) to work across mainstream secondary schools with SEND provisions across Tyne and Wear.

About the Learning Support Assistant Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students access learning, build confidence, and succeed in a secondary school environment.
Depending on the school and student needs, your role may include:
- Supporting students in the classroom (whole class, small group or 1-to-1)
- Working with students with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties
- Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
- Providing encouragement, structure and positive behaviour support
- Helping students stay engaged, motivated and on task
- Supporting pupils both academically and pastorally throughout the school day
Roles are well-structured, with clear expectations and support from experienced school staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
