Well, look no further! We are currently seeking an experienced Special Needs Learning Support Assistant for various primary schools in Romford. We're looking for someone who is confident and experienced in working with a variety of SEN needs.
We need someone who can provide a happy and supportive environment , help children reach their full potential , and thrive in a creative, inclusive setting .
Job Duties:

Support: Provide 1:1 assistance to students with SEN in a classroom setting

Assist Learning: Support teachers with implementing individual education plans tailored to each student

Be Attentive: Help monitor and guide students through tasks and instructions

Behaviour Support: Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour using positive strategies

Build Relationships: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals while keeping detailed progress records

Create Inclusion: Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports integration

Previous experience supporting children with SEN
