Protocol Education are recruiting for graduates to provide learning support in schools across Sunderland.
In your role as a learning support assistant you will provide 121 and small group support to children (aged 11-16) with SEND. Many of the children you will work with will have SEMH (social, emotional, mental health) and at times behaviour may be challenging. You will have an empathetic and calm demeanour. You may work within the schools learning support unit or within the wider school.
The role of learning support assistant is highly suited for graduates interested in teaching. Our client schools are keen to find enthusiastic and ambitious individuals who want to progress in a career in education, no previous experience of working with children is required.
To be considered for this role you must be available Monday-Friday during term time.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
