The quiet support. The steady presence. The difference-maker.

If you're the kind of person who spots the child that’s struggling before they say a word, you're exactly who we’re looking for.

We’re working with warm, welcoming schools across Merton, Mitcham, Wimbledon, and beyond, helping them find Learning Support Assistants who bring calm, care, and consistency to every day.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils with additional needs (SEND, SEMH, EAL)

  • Helping learners stay engaged and access lessons in a way that works for them

  • Creating safe, structured routines that build trust and confidence

  • Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and parents to keep every child progressing

What you bring:

  • Experience working with children or young people (in schools or beyond)

  • A calm, positive attitude and a knack for building trust

  • SEND experience is a bonus - but what matters most is patience, empathy, and willingness to learn

What we offer:

  • Weekly pay through PAYE (no umbrella faff)

  • FREE Thrive training to build your emotional support toolkit

  • Loads of CPD via our online academy

  • A friendly, local consultant who actually listens and supports you

Not Thrive trained yet? Don’t worry - we’ll get you sorted for free. And yes, schools really notice it.
