Outstanding & Rewarding SEN school Looking for Experienced SEN LSAs/TAs
Protocol are looking for learning support assistants to work in one of our outstanding SEN schools in south west London. The school is a very rewarding environment with friendly staff and excellent leadership, who are looking for experienced learning support assistants to work with students with special needs such as global learning difficulties, poor social, interactive or personal skills, language and communication difficulties, autistic spectrum disorder, ADHD or other diagnosed conditions. As a teaching assistant you will be expected to work one to one or lead small groups.
As a specialist LSA successful candidates will need the following skills and qualifications:
- Experience working with special needs such as global learning difficulties, poor social, interactive or personal skills, language and communication difficulties, autistic spectrum disorder, ADHD or other diagnosed conditions.
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to use initiative and work well under pressure.
- Be able to differentiate work to support needs of children.
- TEACCH, PECS and Makaton experience is desirable.
- Positions are subject to an enhance disclosure barred service.
