The new academic year is here, and our local secondary schools in North Bristol and South Gloucestershire are ready to welcome enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join their teams.

If you’re a psychology graduate, or simply someone who wants meaningful experience working in schools, this could be the perfect role to kickstart your career. You’ll be working closely with teachers, supporting students with their learning, and making a real impact in classrooms every day.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for students

  • Helping young people build confidence and achieve their best

  • Gaining hands-on experience that’s perfect if you’re considering a career in teaching, psychology, or education support

What schools are looking for:

  • Enthusiastic, reliable people who enjoy working with teenagers and young people

  • A calm, patient approach and strong communication skills

  • Some experience with young people (formal or informal) is helpful, but not essential
