Primary schools across Croydon are looking for Learning Support Assistants and 1:1 Support Staff to work closely with pupils who need a little extra help to thrive. These are caring, community-led schools that value their support staff just as much as their teachers.
Your day-to-day will include:

Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with additional needs

Helping children stay focused, confident, and engaged in learning
-
Supporting emotional regulation, routines, and positive behaviour

Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO to put support plans into action
This role could be a great fit if you:

Have experience supporting children in a school, nursery, or similar setting

Are patient, nurturing, and calm under pressure

Enjoy building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
-
Have SEN experience (ASD, ADHD, SEMH), or a genuine desire to learn

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
