Learning Support Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting pupils who have disengaged from mainstream education? We are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a KS3 setting that focuses on re-engagement, structure and positive behaviour.

You will support pupils with SEMH needs, helping them access learning in small classes and rebuild confidence in education.

Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support within KS3/4 lessons.
• Support pupils to follow routines and stay regulated in class.
• Reinforce positive behaviour strategies and boundaries.
• Work closely with teachers to adapt learning activities.

Skills & Qualities:
• Calm and resilient approach.
• Experience or interest in SEMH support.
• Strong relationship-building skills.

Help pupils reconnect with learning and routine.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
