We’re working with a welcoming SEND school in Waltham Forest that’s looking for a caring and reliable SEND Teaching Assistant. This is a school that understands behaviour is communication, values consistency, and knows that great support staff make all the difference.
What your day might look like:

Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups, helping them feel safe, regulated, and ready to learn

Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to provide consistent support

Helping pupils build communication, independence, and confidence at their own pace

Being a calm, reassuring presence, especially on the tougher days

Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND, in schools, care, or similar settings

Bring patience, empathy, and a steady approach to your work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
