Full-Time Learning Support Assistant
Primary Schools across Brentwood
We are working closely with a number of welcoming and well-established primary schools across Brentwood who are seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant to join their teams on a long-term basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is committed to supporting children’s learning, wellbeing, and development, and who is looking for a stable, rewarding role within a primary school setting.
The role

Supporting pupils within the classroom, in small groups, or on a 1:1 basis

Helping children to access learning and stay engaged throughout the school day

Working collaboratively with class teachers and SENCOs to support individual needs

Promoting a positive, calm, and inclusive learning environment

Providing consistent support to help pupils build confidence and independence
What schools are looking for

Experience working with children, ideally within a school or educational setting

A patient, reliable, and proactive approach

Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs, SEND experience is desirable

Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to pupil progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
