This isn’t just classroom support—it’s life support.

Some children come to school carrying more than just a backpack. You could be the person who helps them feel seen, safe, and ready to learn.

We’re searching for brilliant Learning Support Assistants to work 1:1 with primary-aged pupils who need extra help managing their emotions and behaviour. These roles are ideal for someone who’s calm, consistent, and ready to build trust, even on the trickier days.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting children with SEMH needs to settle into routines and build confidence

  • Assisting with learning, emotional regulation, and social interaction

  • Using positive strategies to support behaviour and encourage participation

  • Working closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to meet individual needs

The right person will:

  • Have experience in education, care, youth support or similar settings

  • Be emotionally resilient, empathetic, and proactive

  • Understand the importance of structure, patience, and trust

  • Be available full-time (Monday to Friday)

What we offer in return:

  • Weekly pay via PAYE—no umbrella companies

  • Free Thrive training and full access to our CPD Academy

  • A personal consultant who really gets to know you

  • A chance to work in settings that value and support what you bring

  • Opportunities for career development in SEND and SEMH education

We know these roles aren’t easy—but they matter. And with the right support (that’s us!), they’re incredibly rewarding.
