Protocol Education are working in partnership with a specialist SLCN provision in Brentwood, supporting pupils who require tailored approaches to communication and learning.

As a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant, you will work within a classroom setting supporting multiple students, as well as providing small group or 1:1 support where required. You will help pupils access learning, develop communication skills, and build positive relationships, working closely with teachers and therapists to support individual learning plans.
We’re Looking for Someone Who:

Has a genuine interest in supporting pupils with SLCN

Is patient, nurturing and positive in their approach

Is confident supporting multiple pupils within a classroom environment

Can build strong, trusting relationships and work well as part of a team
Previous experience supporting children with SLCN is beneficial but not essential — full training and ongoing support will be provided.
