Looking for a full-time SEND role where you’re supported, trusted and genuinely part of the school team? This could be a lovely fit.
We’re working with a welcoming primary school in Enfield with a well-run Autism Resource Provision. They’re looking for a committed ARP Teaching Assistant who understands that consistency, structure and calm make all the difference.
You’ll be supporting pupils with autism who access learning both in the ARP and mainstream classrooms, so flexibility, patience and a good sense of humour will take you far.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting pupils with autism across the ARP and mainstream settings

Helping children manage emotions and access learning confidently
-
Using visual supports, routines and clear boundaries
-
Working closely with class teachers, SENCO and wider support staff

Encouraging independence, progress and confidence, at each child’s pace
What we’re looking for:

Experience supporting children with ASC or SEND, ideally in a school setting
-
A calm, patient and proactive approach
-
Confidence supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
-
Someone reliable and happy in a full-time, long-term role
-
Thrive training is a big plus, and if you’re not trained yet, we’ll get you booked onto our free Thrive course

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
