Learning Support Assistant
Location: Hackney, East London

We are working closely with a welcoming and inclusive school in Hackney that is seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant to join their support team.
This role is ideal for someone who is committed to helping pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The school places a strong emphasis on inclusion, positive relationships, and providing the right support to help every child access learning.
The role will involve:

Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 basis or in small groups

Assisting with learning activities and adapting support to meet individual needs

Supporting pupils with additional learning, behavioural, or emotional needs

Working collaboratively with class teachers and the wider support team

Helping to maintain a calm, positive, and inclusive learning environment
The school is looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children or young people, ideally within an education or support setting

Is patient, reliable, and confident building positive relationships
-
Can follow guidance while showing initiative where appropriate

Is available for a full-time position

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
