Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of young learners? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a friendly and inclusive Key Stage 2 (KS2) team in a primary school in Ealing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 and group support to KS2 pupils, ensuring they remain engaged and confident in their learning journey.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to deliver differentiated activities that cater to the needs of all students.
  • Support pupils with additional educational needs, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
  • Assist in creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where children feel valued and motivated.
  • Monitor and document pupil progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents as required.
  • Help with the preparation of learning resources and classroom materials to enhance teaching and learning.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with primary school children, preferably in KS2.
  • A genuine passion for supporting the development and education of young learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and classroom practices is advantageous.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
