Job Description:

Job Duties:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering tailored learning plans
  • Assisting students with special educational needs
  • Providing one-on-one support to students
  • Helping maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting with classroom activities and projects

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Relevant experience working with children or young people
  • Knowledge of special educational needs and inclusive education practises
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

A relevant educational qualification in Education or a related field

Experience:

Previous experience working in a similar role within an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of learning support strategies
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Patience and empathy when working with students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Additional training in special educational needs

Working Conditions:

This role involves working full-time hours in a school environment, supporting students with varying educational needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
