Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Salary: £95 - £105 Per day
Job Duties:
- Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities in a classroom setting
- Assist teachers in implementing individualised education plans
- Help students with academic tasks, including reading, writing, and numeracy
- Support students with emotional and behavioural needs
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working with students with special educational needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience and empathy towards students facing challenges
Education:
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
- Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) are desirable
Experience:
- Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting
- Demonstrated ability to support students with diverse learning needs
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of various learning difficulties and disabilities
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Knowledge of behaviour management strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
- Training in safeguarding and child protection
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily in a classroom environment
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
- Potential to work with students across different age groups

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
