Salary: £95 - £105 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities in a classroom setting
  • Assist teachers in implementing individualised education plans
  • Help students with academic tasks, including reading, writing, and numeracy
  • Support students with emotional and behavioural needs
  • Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive learning environment
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience and empathy towards students facing challenges

Education:

  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) are desirable

Experience:

  • Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting
  • Demonstrated ability to support students with diverse learning needs

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of various learning difficulties and disabilities
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Knowledge of behaviour management strategies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • Training in safeguarding and child protection

Working Conditions:

  • Work primarily in a classroom environment
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
  • Potential to work with students across different age groups

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
