We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join our team and work in various primary schools. As an LSA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and social development of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Support: Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons, providing individual and group support to students.
- Special Educational Needs: Work with children with special educational needs, adapting activities to meet their individual needs and ensuring they have access to the curriculum.
- Behaviour Management: Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, managing behaviour in line with school policies.
- Learning Activities: Support the planning and delivery of learning activities, including preparing resources and setting up learning spaces.
- Pastoral Care: Offer emotional and social support to students, fostering a safe and nurturing learning environment.
- Communication: Liaise with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' progress and well-being.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths. A relevant qualification in education or childcare is desirable.
- Experience: Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred. Experience with SEN children is a strong advantage.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to different school environments and work effectively as part of a team.
