Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne & surrounding areas

Pay: Up to £77-85 per day (No umberella companies)

Protocol Education are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 in a Secondary School in Newcastle and surrounding areas. This is a full time role and will involve working with a child with SEMH needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) or SEN Needs (Special Educational Needs).

Experience in this kind of work is preferable and should be clearly shown on your CV along with any training for the role you may have completed.

This is a rewarding role, but it can also be tough, so you would need to be resilient, self-reflective and proactive. You also need excellent communication skills, patience and the ability to demonstrate empathy for the situation of the child you are supporting.
