JOB TITLE: Learning Support Assistant

Protocol Education has a fantastic opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to work at a SEND Secondary School in Redbridge in the New Year.
The successful candidate will be an influential person that wants to support and encourage young people with Autism as they approach adulthood.
The ideal candidate will have the appropriate knowledge and experience working with Autistic children and those with learning difficulties and will find joy in shaping their educational journeys.
This role will include a lot of 1:1 support or 1:2 for more able students. Students range from mild to severe. This role does not include personal care.
What we expect of you?
- To have experience working with children
- Knowledge about SEND children
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Ability to handle challenging/sensitive situations
- At least 2 references covering the last two years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
