Protocol Education are working with a secondary school located in Eastbrook, Barking & Dagenham who are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join their department.

With the help from Protocol Education this secondary school is looking for a passionate and dedicated practitioner who is interested in supporting children within the education sector.

The successful candidate may be required to work with students with varied and complex needs.

Some experience would be useful, but the motivation to learn and drive to succeed is just as valuable.

This role is open to graduates who want to gain practical experience in education.

Responsibilities of a Learning Support Assistant:

  • Assisting students with their educational and social development, on an individual and group basis
  • Offer support to students both inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities.
  • Supporting teachers with the maintenance of student records.
  • Developing and maintaining successful relationships with students, whilst treating them with respect and consideration.
  • Offer expertise to deliver a personalised curriculum for each pupil’s learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
