We are working with a Seconday School based in Islington who are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join them ASAP.

You will be working with a specific selection of pupils with additional support needs and/or intervention requirements. This role offers a small group and 121 interventions operating from within the mainstream schools.  If you are naturally influential in working with young people facing challenges, have good de-escalation and behaviour management and are patient with experience of working with special needs, particularly in working with behaviours that challenge then this role is ideal.

Requirements for the role:

  • Experience of supporting students with SEND on 1:1 or small group basis
  • Exerience of working with youths or young adults in any setting
  • Willingness to undertake necessary training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
