Protocol Education are working in close partnership with a secondary school based in Redbridge who are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join their support team.

They are looking for a candidate who is dedicated, caring and supportive; preferably someone who has experience working within an education setting, however, if you have experience of working with children or young adults in any capacity, we would be interested in hearing from you.

Not only is this school is a forward thinking, accommodating and an exciting place to work; in their latest Ofsted rating they scored a successful rating of Good. 

The school is in close proximity of the A12 and A406 with parking available and good public transport links nearby.

 

Requirements of a Learning Support Assistant:

  • Experience of working with children and young people
  • Ability to work 1-1 or in small groups
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Take responsibility for the development of each student

You will be working with students from year 7 to year 11 therefore it is essential that you feel confident supporting up to 16 years of age.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
