Learning Mentor

The Role:
- Work closely with the school's pastoral team as a learning mentor, providing support to students in overcoming learning barriers.
- Lead initiatives targeting individual and small groups of students, creating an environment conducive to learning and personal development.
- Establish and maintain open communication channels with teaching staff, parents/carers, and additional needs/EAL staff to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
- Supervise and support students in the Focus Area, offering guidance on tasks, ensuring completion of assignments, and collecting work.
- Maintain accurate daily records and efficiently perform necessary administrative tasks.
- Develop and implement personalized action plans for students identified by the pastoral team, conducting individual or small group meetings based on a predetermined schedule.
- Collaborate with the pastoral team to innovate and implement effective support and intervention packages for students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
