About the Role
We’re looking for a Learning Support Assistant for a mainstream primary school with a strong SEND team. You’ll be supporting pupils who need extra guidance with learning tasks, communication and building classroom confidence.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting pupils with speech, language or developmental needs
- Supporting learning through simple, structured activities
- Helping teachers adapt resources so tasks feel manageable
- Encouraging pupils through praise, modelling and calm routines
What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting children in schools, nurseries or youth settings
- A friendly, encouraging manner that helps pupils feel safe
- Patience and adaptability
- Good teamwork and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
