We have an exciting opportunity available at Protocol for a Language Support Assistant.

We are looking to for a Language Support Assistant to complement the teaching of a language by taking agreed MFL learning activities within the classroom.

The job requires planning, preparing and delivering MFL learning activities for individuals/groups or whole classes. This will include monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupils achievement, progress and development.

The ideal candidate

  • Prior experience working with young students
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to undertake on)
  • Ambitious and willing to overcome barriers to learning
  • Have excellent language skills
  • Can teach 1:1 or in small groups
  • Have excellent communicative skills, both orally and written

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
