This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of a highly successful, outstanding, and oversubscribed mixed multi-cultural high school in West London. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Lab Technician to support science education.

As a Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in creating a conducive learning environment for our students. 

Your responsibilities will include:

Resource Management: Assist in the preparation, organization, and maintenance of laboratory resources, including equipment, chemicals, and materials.

Practical Support: Provide support to science teachers and students during practical lessons, ensuring that experiments are set up accurately and safely.

Health and Safety: Promote and enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols within the laboratory, creating a safe working environment for all.

Equipment Maintenance: Carry out routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and readiness for experiments.

Stock Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels, making timely orders to replenish supplies as needed.

Collaboration: Collaborate with the science department staff to support the delivery of a comprehensive and engaging science curriculum.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
