This is a hands-on role for someone who understands that SEN support is about relationships first.
A specialist secondary school in Gateshead needs a KS3 & KS4 SEN Teaching Assistant who can offer calm, reliable support to pupils with complex needs.
The role includes:

Classroom and 1:1 SEN support

Assisting with behaviour regulation and engagement

Helping pupils access learning in ways that work for them

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
