SEN Teaching Assistant – KS3 & KS4 | Gateshead | Start ASAP

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands that SEN support is about relationships first.

A specialist secondary school in Gateshead needs a KS3 & KS4 SEN Teaching Assistant who can offer calm, reliable support to pupils with complex needs.

The role includes:

  • Classroom and 1:1 SEN support

  • Assisting with behaviour regulation and engagement

  • Helping pupils access learning in ways that work for them

You’ll be supported by:

  • Clear behaviour systems

  • Experienced SEN leadership

  • A consistent, well-staffed team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
