Are you an experienced KS2 QTS teacher looking for a fresh, flexible way of working in Colchester and the surrounding area? Whether you're seeking day-to-day supply, regular ongoing cover, or a long-term position, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

We partner with a wide range of Colchester schools—large primaries, village schools, academies, and faith settings—who regularly request high-quality, reliable KS2 practitioners. With demand continuing to rise, we are looking to register experienced teachers who bring strong behaviour management, a confident classroom presence, and a genuine passion for upper primary teaching.

Why work with us?

  • Flexibility that fits around you – choose when and where you work.

  • Consistent, reliable bookings across Colchester, Wivenhoe, Great Horkesley, Stanway, and surrounding areas.

  • Long-term opportunities that match your experience, teaching style, and career goals.

  • A dedicated consultant (ex-primary teacher) who understands the realities of school life and supports you with well-matched placements.

  • Streamlined onboarding and early-morning support for last-minute cover needs.

  • A strong work–life balance without compromising your professional standards or pay expectations.

What we’re looking for

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Recent experience teaching KS2

  • Strong behaviour management and a calm, adaptable approach

  • Reliable, professional, and confident working across a variety of school environments
