About Role: You will play a key role in ensuring high standards of learning and behaviour, fostering a classroom culture rooted in the school’s values and ethos. Working closely with a highly experienced full-time Teaching Assistant and a supportive senior leadership team, you will be encouraged to share ideas, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to whole-school life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Key Stage 1 pupils
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Lots of enthusiasm for teaching and commitment to providing the best education for those children.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain excellent practice
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early career teacher (ECT), Fully Qualified teacher (FQT), Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), teachers are warmly encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to nurturing and inspiring pupils at a crucial stage in their primary education
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one new DBS.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum across EYFS – KS2
