What you’ll be doing

Teaching a cheerful Year 5 class of 29 pupils who adore science experiments and outdoor learning.

Planning engaging lessons that bring the KS2 curriculum to life.

Working alongside a supportive Year Group Partner and TA who know their pupils inside out.

Contributing to the school’s weekly enrichment afternoons.

Building genuine relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues, keeping communication open and positive.
What we’re looking for

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

A teacher who brings energy, creativity, and calm to the classroom.

Confidence in behaviour management and inclusive practice.

A collaborative mindset – someone who values teamwork and isn’t afraid to share a cuppa and a laugh in the staffroom.
Bonus points if you:

Have experience with mixed-ability classes or SEND provision.
