Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons for Key Stage 2 students
  • Assess and record student progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and instructional strategies
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 students
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Key Stage 2

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of pedagogical principles and best practises
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Strong classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Additional training in special education or inclusive practises

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a school setting, following the school calendar and timetable. Some additional hours may be required for planning and assessment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
