Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons for Key Stage 2 students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress to provide constructive feedback and support
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and development
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the overall well-being and academic success of students
  • Participate in school events, meetings and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Key Stage 2

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of the national curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Proficient in using educational technology to enhance learning
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school setting with regular hours during term time. Some additional hours may be required for planning and assessment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
