The role
You’ll be supporting KS2 pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning in a way that feels safe, structured, and encouraging. Every child has their own strengths and challenges, so no two days will feel the same, but your impact will be clear.
You’ll be:

Supporting pupils with autism, communication needs, SEMH, or sensory profiles

Delivering 1:1 and small-group support

Helping pupils regulate emotions and navigate their routines

Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and therapy staff
-
Creating a warm, predictable environment where pupils can flourish

If you’ve worked in SEND before, brilliant. If your experience comes from care, youth work, early years, or similar settings, your skills will still be valuable.
