KS2 Primary Teacher – Gateshead (Long-Term Role)

What the role involves
This is a full-time teaching position within KS2, starting as soon as you’re available. You’ll take the lead with your class, bringing structure, creativity and a warm approach that helps pupils feel secure and ready to learn.
You’ll work closely with your phase team, share ideas, and plan engaging lessons that stretch pupils while keeping things enjoyable and accessible.
Day-to-day expectations as a KS2 Teacher
- Delivering curriculum-aligned, engaging KS2 lessons
- Using a range of strategies to support pupil progress
- Maintaining clear routines that help pupils feel settled and focused
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
- Creating a positive, respectful classroom environment
- Providing helpful marking and feedback

- Recent experience teaching in KS2

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
