Job Duties:

The primary responsibilities of the KS2 Primary Teacher include planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons to Key Stage 2 students, assessing and evaluating student progress, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with colleagues and parents to ensure the best educational outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

A recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS, and a valid DBS check are essential for this role.

Education:

A degree in Education or a related field is required.

Experience:

Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting, specifically within Key Stage 2, is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional training in special educational needs (SEN)

This role involves working in a dynamic classroom environment, collaborating with colleagues, and engaging with students and parents on a regular basis.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
