Job Duties:
1. Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for KS2 students in line with the national curriculum.
2. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic development.
3. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that caters to the individual needs of students.
4. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and well-being.
5. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.
Required Qualifications:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
2. Relevant degree in Education or related field.
3. Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and educational best practises.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a primary school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
1. Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
3. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Postgraduate qualification in Education
2. Experience working with students with special educational needs
3. Knowledge of assessment tools and strategies
Working Conditions:
1. Work hours typically follow the school schedule, with additional time required for planning and assessment
2. Classroom setting with the potential for outdoor activities and field trips
3. Interaction with students, colleagues, and parents on a daily basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
