Job Title: KS2 Class Teacher

Job Duties:
As a KS2 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons to primary school students in Key Stage 2. You will create a positive learning environment, assess student progress, and provide feedback to students and parents. Additionally, you will collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and participate in school events and meetings.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Key Stage 2
Knowledge and Skills:
- Thorough understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Proficiency in using educational technology
- Strong organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Additional training in special education needs (SEN)
Working Conditions:
This is a temporary position, working full-time hours in a primary school setting in Brentwood, Essex. You will follow the school's academic calendar and participate in extracurricular activities as required. The role may involve occasional evening or weekend work for school events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
