KS2 Class Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Class Teacher to join our school in Basildon. Responsibilities:
- Plan and Deliver Lessons: Create and deliver engaging, interactive lessons for Key Stage 2 students.
- Monitor Progress: Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and senior staff.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Work alongside fellow teachers to develop a supportive, inclusive learning environment.
- Engage in School Activities: Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions.
- Ensure Student Well-Being: Follow school policies and procedures to maintain the safety and well-being of all students.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 students.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively and foster a positive learning environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Qualification in Education.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Familiarity with using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time role with regular school hours, Monday to Friday. Some evening or weekend commitments may be required for school events or meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
