Salary: £31,350 - £35,204 Per annum

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 2 students
  • Assess and monitor the progress of pupils, providing feedback to students, parents, and senior staff
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development sessions
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures to ensure the well-being and safety of all students

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Key Stage 2 students
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
  • Experience in using technology to enhance teaching and learning

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a school setting with regular hours from Monday to Friday. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for school events or meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
