We’re working with a Primary School in Benwell, Newcastle, who are on the lookout for a KS1 Teaching Assistant with Read Write Inc. experience to join their warm and welcoming team.
You’ll be supporting pupils as they take those all-important early steps in reading, writing, and confidence-building. If you know your Fred Fingers from your Green Words and love seeing those lightbulb moments, you’ll fit right in.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting phonics groups using the Read Write Inc. programme

Helping pupils build literacy, numeracy, and social skills
-
Working closely with the class teacher to create a calm, happy classroom

Bringing plenty of patience, care, and positive energy
What we’re looking for:

Experience delivering or supporting Read Write Inc.

A nurturing, can-do attitude (and a great sense of humour)

Previous KS1 classroom experience

Availability for full-time, long-term work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
