We are looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early learning and supporting young children to thrive both academically and emotionally.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils in Reception or KS1, both 1:1 and in small groups

  • Assisting the class teacher with daily learning activities

  • Supporting early phonics, literacy, and numeracy development

  • Helping children with emotional regulation, routines, and transitions

  • Creating a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with EYFS or KS1 pupils

  • A warm, patient, and encouraging approach

  • Confident supporting children with additional needs (SEN experience desirable)

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine passion for helping young learners grow in confidence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
