KS1 Teacher – Sunderland (Long-Term Role)

What the role involves as a KS1 Teacher
You’ll take responsibility for a KS1 class, creating a positive learning environment where pupils feel settled, safe and motivated. You’ll plan and deliver creative lessons, support early literacy and numeracy, and build strong relationships with pupils and families.
The school has a supportive leadership team, friendly staff and a collaborative key stage environment.
Your key responsibilities as a KS1 Teacher
- Planning and teaching engaging KS1 lessons
- Tracking pupil progress and adapting learning where needed
- Encouraging positive behaviour through consistent routines
- Working closely with your year group team and support staff
- Creating a classroom where children feel confident, valued and ready to learn

- Experience teaching in KS1

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
