Are you a passionate and experienced KS1 Primary Teacher looking for a long-term role starting this September? We are currently seeking dedicated teachers for part-time and full-time Key Stage 1 placements across a range of welcoming and supportive schools in Romford.

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and teach creative and age-appropriate lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum

  • Support Early Learning Development: Monitor and assess pupil progress, identifying areas for intervention and support

  • Create a Nurturing Environment: Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured learning space that supports young learners

  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with other teachers, teaching assistants, and school leaders to enhance learning outcomes

What You Need:

  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience: Previous teaching experience in Key Stage 1 (Year 1 or Year 2)

  • Skills: Strong classroom management, communication, and the ability to engage younger pupils

  • Compliance: Enhanced DBS check on the update service

  • Curriculum Knowledge: Solid understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
